Situated between Liège and Aachen, at the heart of the Euregio, Limbourg is easily accessible from the main Belgian cities as well as from Germany and the Netherlands.
It’s an ideal place to enjoy a green region nestling at the foot of the Hautes Fagnes and the Gileppe dam.
Nestling between the Pays de Herve and the Ardennes Massif, our villages, each with their own special character, offer plenty of reasons to linger: Dolhain is convivial, Bilstain rural, Goé authentic, Hèvremont rural and Limbourg historic.
The village of Limbourg is listed as one of Wallonia’s outstanding architectural heritage sites and has been awarded the “Most Beautiful Villages in Wallonia” label. The site of the former stronghold, which has retained its charm of yesteryear, is well worth a visit.
A visit to Limbourg is a timeless experience in the heart of Wallonia’s nature and history.
Welcome to Limbourg! Welcome to our home!
The tourist information office for the town of Limbourg and the surrounding area is a private not-for-profit organisation founded in 1938 – the same year as the Liège province tourism federation – to promote the town and neighbouring villages, develop tourism, enhance our heritage and provide a warm welcome for tourists.
